About Me

My name is Lorenzo. I come from the 1970s, and I live on planet Earth. I find the idea of nation states and nationalities outdated. (I also find the idea of government outdated, but that’s a different story.)

I enjoy programming and have been doing that even since my father brought a VIC-20 to the house many years ago. I’m not religious when it comes to programming languages, although I have my personal favorites (both Ruby and Python come high up on my list). I spend much of my free time playing around with various programming languages and like discovering new ones.

I use UNIX and Linux. I use emulators for the Commodore 8-bit machines (VICE) as well as Amiga (UAE), because occasionally I need a trip down memory lane.

I’m addicted to learning in general. I enjoy math and physics as well as history, philosophy and just about anything else. I also enjoy learning (human) languages. Currently I am trying to learn the most beautiful language in the world: Ga.

Note that I am using my real name. I don’t try to hide my identity. You wouldn’t see me hiding my face at a demonstration. I am who I am, and I stand for the things I say. When I go wrong, there is a real physical person you can hold accountable. If you feel that I am vermin that needs to be exterminated, I don’t think there are too many people in this world who share my name, and if your IQ is higher than that of a tadpole you’ll know where to find me.
